Robot Storm is Programmed to Destroy us!

The company Robot Storm has just teemed up with iRobot (makers of the fun and friendly”Roomba” and automatic weaponry for the military) to mount an automatic robot gun on top of a self propelled robot base.

My testosterone is telling me that the Robot Storm is awesome. It can fire 6000 rounds a minute. Let me say that again so you don’t have to re read it thinking your eyes deceived you. 6000 ROUNDS PER SECOND! The problem is that its unmanned. If it moves it is going to die.
Of course Robot Storm is talking about more safe applications. Crowd control is one of the options. Maybe border patrol. I guess we could load it with rubber bullets it would be fine just firing 6000 rounds into a crowd of people. Haven’t you ever been to Boulder Colorado during a riot? Those collage students are just asking for a motion tracking robot weapon spewing 6000 rounds of rubber bullets into the masses.
Another good application is border control… fire randomly at imigrants who are just trying to make a better life. 6000 rounds will teach them. Anyone who dreams of being a day laborer gets 6000 rounds a minute.
Yet another application is surrounding camps of humans while our robot overlords make us build better new automatic weapons in which to destroy us.
